A fresh take on the Eames’s famous trestle base design. The dowel legs fit into a collar rather than mounting on a blade and the trestles are fixed to the sub-frame beneath the plywood surface instead of returning back to the legs. This piece aims to celebrate a world-renowned design by presenting it in a bold and composed form.
